2007 World Record Limo Convoy managed over 1 Mile of stretch limousines 124 limousines attended! WOW! Although the organisers are confident we have achieved the mile - We have to wait for official confirmation from"Guiness World Records"

The event organisers would like to say a massive thankyou to everybody who came along and supported this fantastic day. People came from all over the UK just to see the convoy rolling along through Blackpool illuminations. Limousine operators and chauffeurs travelled from every corner of the country just to be part of this record and charity event. Although we are waiting official confirmation from the Guiness Book of Records, we can confidently say that we managed over the 1 mile target.

limo convoy announced

Dear NLCA Member

In 2007, the first Limo Convoy was held in Blackpool and saw more than 120 limousines flock to the town and raise tens of thousands of pounds for a number of charities.

This year, The Limo Convoy is hoped to be bigger and better, as we already have a great deal of dedication from Blackpool Council and the National Limousine and Chauffeur Association committee. A Family Fun Day has been created which will see other entertainment, chauffeurs area, food stools and much more.

However, we need YOUR LIMOUSINES to make this event happen! You can also be part of a Guinness World Record as officials will decide if we can break the 1 mile of limousines at the same time.

The event is to take part on SUNDAY OCTOBER 5TH 2008, and all you need to do to take part is register your vehicles on WWW.LIMOCONVOY.COM and be part of this special occasion.

More information will be posted on the NLCA forum over the coming days. This is a great opportunity to get some great publiclity in your local media, as this event will have nationwide press coverage.
